Currency Exchange
In most countries we travel to (with the exception of Cambodia), vendors only accept local currency. It is highly recommended to have a plan prepared before departure to exchange your dollars. Currency exchange is available in airports to and from Asia or before departure with your respective financial centers.

We also suggest considering direct ATM withdrawal overseas as another option. International ATM exchange rates are typically very competitive, and generally more favorable than currency exchange counters, even after including any foreign transaction fees your bank may charge. However, not all countries have international ATMs readily available, so please be sure to check if this is an option for your destination before departure.

While you are traveling on our tours, our guides will be happy to help point out where you may exchange currency or use an ATM.
